WHAT IS ASK BREWHOUSE KOMBUCHA?
Kombucha is a fermented beverage that consists of three basic ingredients – water, organic sugar, and organic tea.

How it’s made?
The unique elements of this healthy beverage are created by the introduction of a live culture called a SCOBY (a symbiotic colony of bacteria and yeast) in appearance. During the first phase of fermentation at ASK Brewhouse, we see the organic and raw ingredients infused together. The second phase of fermentation is where you will find many companies adding fruit juice or flavor additives, but not the 100% raw and organic approach we use at ASK Brewhouse. The subtle flavors you find in our Kombucha are formed by adding natural herbs and spices right alongside the organic loose leaf tea. Therefore our 100% raw and organic Kombucha gives a delicate aroma and a rich flavor profile.

We are Debio Certified, which means all our ingredients have passed Norway’s strict regulations for organic production. ASK Brewhouse is committed to achieving the best results in the brewing process that maximize the health benefits. We don’t pasteurize, we don’t add juices or additives to enhance the flavor profile during the bottling process because that would mean a less healthy product for you.

Tea
One of the most important components of organic and raw Kombucha, is the tea used to make it. The teas are carefully selected from the very best quality. In our team we have the only Tea Sommelier in the country. She brought a deeper level of credibility in terms of the organic and raw approach used. With her eyes focused on the details of tea harvesting that include soil quality, climate conditions, and the hands that care for the tea trees, you quickly learn there’s more than meets the eye.
MASTERY
The Craftsmanship
Our selection of products are all produced in-house at our brewing and production facility in Sundvollen, Norway. From leaf to bottle, the flavor profiles created are due to a combination of organic loose leaf teas paired with dried fruit, herbs, and roots that ferment for around two weeks.
PROBIOTIC
One way we achieve this is by seeing our yeast eat up nearly all the organic sugars in the first fermentation, leaving our Kombucha with some of the lowest sugar content in the commercial industry. When you combine this with our 100% raw approach that means billions of healthy probiotic bacteria in every bottle, you are left with a brew that moves past crisp and refreshing, and becomes a truly healthy beverage.
